Why we chose here? We actually didn't choose this spot. We were having solar installed on our rig and this is where our installation technician has a spot for him to work.
Location: This is a wonderfully scenic part of the country. Great hiking and places to visit on both the Oregon and Washington sides of the gorge. White Salmon is a small town with a few restaurants and coffee shops. Hood River just over the bridge is a fantastic town with a greater range of stores, cafes, breweries and restaurants. The park is very close to the main road and can be noisy.
Sites: Small spots, close together.
Facilities: Laundry, clean and modern showers.
Groceries: No Whole Foods or Trader Joe's nearby. Rosauers was the nicest store we found in Hood River, it has a natural foods section.
Reservations: Yes
Cell Coverage / WiFi: Good AT&T and Verizon in the park.
Price Paid: $50 regular rate

Other: Note: The bridge between White Salmon and Hood River is extremely narrow. Even if your GPS sends you this way do not try and cross the river here with your rig. We crossed at The Dalles further east up the Columbia River Gorge.
Would we come here again? No. We prefer county parks and campgrounds more immersed in nature than here. It was too close to the main road and the sites were too close together.
