Why we chose here? We knew we wanted to visit Santa Fe on our way to the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta. As there are very few public campground options for a larger RV in the area, we decided on an RV park instead. After reading online reviews this seemed the best option in the area.
Location: On the outskirts of Santa Fe, this is a great location on top of a hill with views of the surrounding area. There is a brewery nearby, and to get into Santa Fe is a relatively short drive.
Sites: Pull through sites with full hook ups. As with most RV parks you are pretty closely packed in, but these sites have nice patios.
Facilities: Good laundry facilities and large warm showers.
Groceries: Santa Fe has Trader Joe's, Sprouts and Whole Foods
Reservations: Yes
Cell Coverage / WiFi: Good coverage throughout the park.
Price Paid: $43 with Good Sam discount E-W-S-C
Date of visit: Oct 2014
Other: The park has native plants everywhere and has a rustic, shabby chic feel. There is antique farming equipment all around the park. Some reviews have described lots of weeds and an unkempt feel, I think that people are maybe confusing a native garden feel with weeds. We personally liked the ambiance of the park.
Would we come here again? Yes. We had a busy week doing things other than exploring, and it was a little wet and cold so we didn't get to see much of Santa Fe. Next time we come through we would stay here.
