Campground Review: Crown Villa RV Resort Bend, Oregon

Campground Review: Crown Villa RV Resort Bend, Oregon

Why we chose here? We knew we wanted to spend a couple of weeks in Bend and this private RV park is within the city limits. We couldn't get a spot at the nearby state park. This is more than we would normally pay for a park, but it is the Rolls Royce of RV parks, so we decided to treat ourselves.

Location: A few minutes drive from everything Bend has to offer. We cycled to nearby breweries and took pretty walks around nearby neighborhoods. The spots at the back of the park are quieter than those near the road.

Sites: Wonderful, huge, paved spaces, with a bistro type table and chair at each site. A newspaper is delivered to your site each day and the trash and

recycling is picked up each day from your site. No Really! You can rent a storage locker at your site if you need it too.

Facilities: There is an on site gym, laundry, hot tub, recreation room, tennis/piockle ball court, firepits, bbqs, horseshoes and putting green.

Groceries: Whole Foods and Trader Joe's in Bend

Reservations: Yes

Cell Coverage / WiFi: Good coverage throughout the park for both AT&T and Verizon.

Price Paid: $79 E-W-S-C

Date of visit: August 2014

Other:  Even though this place was expensive it really sets a high watermark that all other RV parks should aspire to.

Would we come here again? Yes - although it is a splurge.
