Campground Review: Emigrant Lake, Ashland, OR

Why we chose here?  We had read reviews of this place from fellow RV bloggers and it seemed like a scenic location next to a nice town.  Perfect for us.

Location: The campground is perfectly situated so that everyone has a lake view. Ashland is ten minutes drive away. The lake level was low when we were there and there was limited hiking from the campsite.

Sites: Roomy sites, quite open so not as much privacy as a campground with more trees. The lakeside spots are prime, but the ones that are high up also have great views.

Groceries: There is a Safeway in Ashland. For Trader Joes or Natural Grocers we had to go to Medford.

Reservations: Yes

Cell Coverage / WiFi: Verizon and AT&T coverage here.

Price Paid: $30: $8 reservation. E-W-S

Date of visit: August 2014

Other:  The town of Ashland is delightful! The Shakespeare Festival was a great visit. Half price tickets are available regularly on their website for the shows that are a few days away.

Would we come here again? Yes, this meets our definition of a perfect site. Nice scenic setting and near to an interesting town or city.
