Campground Review: Fredericksburg RV Park, Fredericksburg, TX

Why we chose here?  Making the long drive back from Austin across Texas to El Paso on Interstate 10, we wanted a couple of stops along the way. We passed Fredericksburg on our way to Austin and thought it looked like a cute little town.

Location: This RV park is closest to the main street. If the weather was warmer we would have cycled into town, but it was completely freezing while we were there.

Sites: 100 pull through sites. Typical RV park setting, fairly close together. Picnic tables and full hook ups.

Facilities: Laundry, games room, recycling, shower blocks.  We didn't use anything as it was so cold we just huddled up inside our rig.

Groceries: The H.E.B here is huge and very well stocked. We were impressed with the selection.

Reservations: Yes

Cell Coverage / WiFi: Yes Verizon and AT&T had good coverage here.  There is on-site WiFI that as usual was sluggish.

Price Paid: $40.50 with Good Sam discount. E-W-S-C

Date of visit: Nov 2014

Would we come here again? Yes if we were to visit Fredericksburg we would chose here because of it's proximity to town.
