Campground Review: Murtaugh Lake County Park, Idaho

Why we chose here?  This was a convenient overnight stop between Boise Idaho, and the Salt Lake City area.

Location: This is a Twin Falls County Park. There doesn't seem a whole lot to do around here, but the location is pretty and the sites are right on the water.

Sites: Pretty sites with a shelter, table and fire ring. Most of them are on the water, some of them have their own docks. Some of the sites have electric and water.

Groceries: Nothing for miles around here, bring food with you!

Reservations: Yes, but we didn't need them mid week.

Price Paid: $10 dry

Date of visit: Sept 2014

Other:  We only stayed a night here mainly because the flies were terrible. We couldn't sit outside as they bothered us so much. We saw otters and wonderful birds. The hosts told us the whole park was being upgraded over the winter.

Would we come here again? Maybe if we were passing through again. If it was a different time of year maybe the flies would be better.
