General: This is a forest campground, scenic with spacious sites many of them pull-through. Excellent for an overnight stay, we didn't have to unhitch but we did because we took a trip back into Austin to fill-up with gas and get ice-cream after a hot day driving.
Location: Just a few miles from Austin and right off highway 50, the access is super easy.
Sites: Nicely spaced apart, with some pull throughs. Each site has a picnic table and fire ring. There are some trees, but also plenty of blue sky for solar panel use. Some of the sites are not very level. All sites are dry, there is water available here at the campground depending on the time of year.
Facilities: Toilets, trash collection and water spigots.
Groceries: Fuuuuuurget it! Stock up before you head along the Loneliest Highway.
Reservations: No.
Cell coverage / WiFi: Yes good coverage from Verizon and AT&T
Price paid: $10 - Dry

Would we come here again? Yes. Perfect place to rest after a day of driving.
