General: This is a forest campground, scenic with spacious sites many of the sites are pull-through. Excellent for an overnight stay, we didn't have to unhitch because many of the sites are huge and I think we got the biggest site int he park, and the biggest site we have ever stayed in. There is a pretty creek running through the campground.
Location: This is a few miles off the freeway, but it's not a difficult road. The peace and quiet, views and setting make it well worth the short detour off the highway.
Sites: Nicely spaced, with some pull throughs. Each site has a picnic table, BBQ grill and fire ring, some are more like family sites and have two tables. Many of the sites are very shaded, other are wide open and have views of the valley floor, the ones at the back have red rock views.
Facilities: Toilets and water spigots.
Groceries: We didn't explore anywhere near here, but I am thinking you will want to stock up before you head along the Loneliest Highway.
Reservations: Yes, but we didn't need them for a Tuesday in July, in fact the campground was completely empty.
Cell coverage / WiFi: Yes good coverage from Verizon with a booster
Price paid: $15 - Dry

Would we come here again? Yes. Scenic and peaceful. Perfect place to rest after a day of driving and would make a fun spot to spend a few days.
