Campground Review: Two Medicine Campground, Glacier NP, Montana

Breathe in.  Tight spot!
Why we chose here: Glacier has always been on our list to visit this summer. We decided to explore a little of the East side before heading over to the more popular West side.

Location: This area is stunningly beautiful. Rugged peaks and tranquil waters. Two Medicine is not on a through road, so in theory is not as busy as other Glacier campgrounds. That is not the case in July. Competition is fierce. (see our tips here)

Sites: There are about 100 sites, no hook-ups. The first 36 sites are generator free. A lot of the sites are short or are heavily wooded.  Our site was definitely a squeeze. There are a few prime spots with a water view.

Facilities: Toilets. A dump station, water, trash and recycling (Aluminum and plastic #1 only)

Groceries: Best to bring it with you.  Just small camping style stores anywhere close to here.

Reservations: No this is all FCFS.

Cell Coverage / WiFi: Forget it. Absolutely nada here! The nearest place to pick up Verizon or AT&T is East Glacier village.

Price Paid: $20

Date of visit: July 2015

Would we come here again? Definitely. Such a gorgeous place.

Other: There are some great hiking trails right from the campground. Upper Two Medicine was stunning.
